After living in Singapore off and on for nearly 15 years, I finally went to see Thaipusam – the preparations of the devotees in putting on the kavadis (burdens) and the body piercing and then the procession. Was left feeling humbled at the amazing faith that one has to have to go through these devotions. I will post a few images, these may be graphic and difficult to take.
